Description

Power Electronics and Drives is an important laboratory for the students who are pursuing undergraduate programs in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Through this lab students can demonstrate and simulate different experiments like Power semiconductor device characters, AC to DC Rectifiers, DC to AC Inverters, DC to DC converters, AC to AC voltage controllers and motor control applications.

Description

The Electrical Machines I & II labs aim at providing a platform for students to perform experiments which explain the working principle and characteristics for various types of DC Motors, DC Generators, Alternators and AC Motors. In this lab, students had the possibilities to test the efficiency of various tests to determine the efficiency and performance characteristics which are useful in determining the suitable motors or generators according to their applications. In this lab students have the chances to learn about the construction, working principle, performance characteristics and testing of the DC and AC machines, it makes industry ready engineers serve the society.

Engineering Practice Lab is one of the important labs for all branches of first year students who are pursuing undergraduate programs. Description

The emerging treads for electrical engineering are the study of Renewable energy harvesting, its issues for energy extracting and its modern issues. A Hybrid Wind-Solar integrated renewable energy was established for undergraduate Engineers. Through this laboratory students can learn how the energy extracting from sun and wind sources and how the power electronics converters are used for stabilize the voltage fluctuations during seasonal changes and variation in wind flow.

Description

In this lab, the students will acquire hands-on experience with electrical and electronic circuits. It gives knowledge of basic resistive circuits, natural and step responses of RLC networks and analysis of sinusoidal AC networks containing resistive, capacitive, and inductive circuit elements. Provide the students the experience of designing, constructing, testing, and debugging Electrical and Electronic circuits. It is designed to provide students with fundamental concepts of Electrical and Electronic Circuits for lab experience. Application of simulation tools (PSPICE/MATLAB/MUTISIM) to understand the circuit characteristics. The basic electrical laws and phenomena are demonstrated after being discussed in the electric circuit courses. It facilitates the students to design Electrical and Electronic circuits and to measure and document performance of electronic circuits.
